This course is intended to increase awareness and knowledge about various veteran and military service members’ behavior disorders that first responders may encounter while responding to calls for service in their various community service areas.

The Minnesota Sheriffs’ Association is a continuing education sponsor as approved by the Board of Peace Officer Standards and Training. This course, CIT Module 16: Veteran’s Mental Health 09053-006711 has been approved by the POST Board for continuing education credit.
