Module Overview
This module addresses the fact that change is one thing that an organization and leader can count on. Leaders who wish to initiate change or respond to a need for change may have to go through a transformation themselves. This transformation will allow them to become a true change agent by increasing their level of Emotional Intelligence and their Positive Intelligence Quotient (PQ).
Module Objectives
Upon successful completion of this module students should be able to:
- Understand the concept of Deep Change.
- Identify strategies that improve a leaders Positive Intelligence Quotient.
- Counteract saboteurs to Deep Change strategies.
The Minnesota Sheriffs’ Association is a continuing education sponsor as approved by the Board of Peace Officer Standards and Training. This course, Deep Change and Positive Emotional Intelligence 09053-00653, has been approved by the POST Board for continuing education credit. Peace officers who successfully complete this course will receive two (2) hours of continuing education.
